In 2008, NASA with the coordination of Geoff Brown and Machine to Machine Intelligence Corp (M2Mi) developing 5G communication technology. By 2020 European Commission decided to invest 50 Million Euros to provide 5G mobile technology under the leadership of Neelie Kroes and many telecommunication companies under METIS (Mobile and Wireless communications Enablers for the Twenty-twenty Information Society) 2020 Project are trying to reach worldwide mobile and wireless communications system. In November, 2012 METIS started its activities towards developing 5G Technology.
