Android 4.0 – 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich Version
Ice Cream Sandwich is the Android Mobile Operating System developed by
Google and released on October 19, 2011, by launching its devices in Hong Kong. It
is developed to create an integrated platform for both Tablets and Smartphones.
Galaxy Nexus is the first Android Smartphone launched with Android 4.0 Version.
It provides different features like Multitasking, Rich and Interactive
Notifications, Resizable Widgets, New and Different Lock Screen Actions,
Improved Spell Checker, Good level of Communication and Sharing, Powerful Web

Android 4.0.3 was released on
December 16, 2011, with providing the features like New API’s, Bug Fixes, etc.,
Android 4.0.4 was released on March 29, 2012, with improvements to
Screen Resolution, Camera Development, and Fixation of Some other Bugs.
Android 4.1 – 4.3.1 Jelly Bean Version
Jelly Bean is the Android Mobile Operating Mobile System developed by
Google and Jelly Bean 4.1 Version was released in June, 2012 designed by focusing on
improvements to make smoother Operating System, Notification System, Google
Search experience etc,. Jelly Bean has first released in Nexus 7 Tablet.

Jelly Bean 4.2 Version was released on October 29, 2012, by launching
this version in Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 devices. It was developed with additional
features to the user interface, improvements to the swiped lock screen, Quick settings,
Multi-User for Tablets, improvements to Screen Savers, etc,.
Jelly Bean 4.3 Version was released on July 24, 2013, via OS Updates to
Galaxy Nexus 7, Nexus 10 and Nexus 4 which provides improvements and updates
for older version along with “Apps Ops” to deny permissions to Apps but it was
removed in Android 4.4.2 Version.
Jelly Bean 4.3.1 Version was released in October 2013. It was an update
version to Jelly bean 4.3 Version.
Android 4.4 – 4.4.4 Kitkat Versions
The latest version of android is released by Google called Android
Kitkat 4.4 - 4.4.4 versions.
Android KitKat 4.4 Version is released on September 3, 2013. Android Kitkat
4.4 provides a different number of features and many improvements compared to
previous versions of Android. Android KitKat released in Google Nexus 5 on
October 31, 2013. Generally Android requires 340 MB as a minimum amount of RAM
but Android KitKat requires 512 MB as a minimum requirement of RAM. It provides
Faster Multitasking, Smarter Caller ID ( when a call arrives from a person who
was not listed in your contact then it will look for matches from the local listing
businesses on Google Maps ), support for Cloud and Eprint Printers, Bluetooth
MAP Support, Device Management, Easy Home Screen Switching and Touchscreen
Improvements etc,.

Android KitKat 4.4.1 Version was released on December 5, 2013, with
Improvements to Bugs, Camera, etc.
Android KitKat 4.4.2 version was released on December 9, 2013, with Bug
fixes but Removal of “App Ops” which was introduced in Android 4.3 Version.
Android KitKat 4.4.3 Version was released on June 2, 2014, with some
improvements, other bug fixes and updated the Chromium-based Web view to
Version 33 ( HTML5 ) .
Android KitKat 4.4.4 Version was released on June 19, 2014, with Other
Bug Fixes and eliminating SSL.
