Sony launched a 5.1 channel surround soundbar HT-S20R as an entry-level soundbar in India with Dolby Audio. It is available for sale in India from February 7 via Sony official website and major online stores such as Amazon and Flipkart at Rs. 14,990.
The Sony HT-S20R 5.1 channel Soundbar comes with one wired subwoofer, one bar speaker and two external rear speakers. Soundbar offers 760 x 52 x 86 mm dimensions and weighs 2 kgs whereas subwoofer offers 192 x 387 x 342 mm dimensions and weighs 6.9 kgs. It is not wall-mountable and is very easy to use by plugging in the wires of woofer and external speakers.
Sony HT-S20R Soundbar was designed to deliver 5.1 channel surround sound with Dolby Audio and its amplifier delivers 400W power output whereas the unit consumes only 40W power. It comes with Bluetooth 5.0v connectivity, one HDMI port, plug and play USB port and many more.
