JioFi, the portable broadband routers by Reliance Jio has provided different steps to follow to change the JioFi router password. JioFi router allows the user to connect multiple devices at a time and they can be configured through My Jio App and Website.
Steps to be followed to change the JioFi broadband router password:
Through My Jio App -
Users can download the My Jio app from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Firstly the user needs to connect the JioFi router to the smartphone and open My Jio App.
- At the bottom of the screen, the user needs to select the My Device option.
- At the top-right corner, the user needs to click on the settings icon and next need to select the change password option available below the SSID.
- Then the user needs to create a new password and click the submit button.
Note: If SSID is unknown, the user can find the SSID under the battery inside the router.
Through Website -
- The user needs to connect the device to the JioFi router.
- Next, user need to open the device's web browser and open any one of the URL - http:/192.168.225.1 or http://jiofi.local.html
- After opening the URL, the user needs to login to the website by using credentials such as username and password.
- Next, the user needs to click on Network > Wi-Fi Configuration > Enter SSID and Password.
