One of the Most Popular Instant Messaging Application called Hike Messenger launched free voice calling facility. For Now, it launched latest voice calling feature only for Android but Data charges will apply.
Hike Messenger supports Android, iOS, BlackBerry, Windows
Phone and Some Nokia Platforms.
Hike is an Instant Messaging service for smart phones which
uses Internet for communication with others. It offers not only Text Messages
but also Stickers, Photos, Videos, Voice Messages, Contacts, Emotions, PDF
files, Audio Files, MS Office files and Sharing of location. It was launched in
December 2012.
Recently Hike Messenger acquired US Based free voice calling
company called Zip Phones. On Indian Republic Day 2015 it added free voice
calling feature for Android users.
Hike voice calling feature will require Internet access and
more data efficient which can also works on poor internet network.
Follow the following steps to make a call
- Select the person’s conversation, whom you need to call
- Click on menu in conversation window
- There you can see call option. Click on it.
Since it is available in Beta Version it shows limited
options like Mute, Speaker, Hold and Disconnect. Company is trying to launch
for the other platforms very soon. By this features the users of Hike will increase rapidly.
